Is your pet part of your family? Our Hank is just as much a part of our family as any of us, so we love to get him special treats and toys. I just recently headed to PetSmart and picked up some Christmas gifts just for him. We love to feed him BLUE™ dog food and treats.
You can read more about what we feed Hank HERE. For the holidays, we got him some special BLUE treats.
First, I found him some BLUE Santa Stew®, which is a special meal with turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, and cranberries. It’s perfect for him to have a special meal during the holiday, too!
A hearty holiday feast that features the traditional favorites of turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes and cranberries, is the perfect way to let your pup know that he’s a much-loved family member.
Another special treat I found is the BLUE Santa Snacks® Oatmeal & Cinnamon Crunchy Dog Biscuits. Now Hank can have his very own Christmas cookies. They are baked with oatmeal, spice and everything nice with an irresistible crunch. They contain nature’s finest ingredients including oatmeal, barley, pumpkin, flaxseed, carrots, and cinnamon. Plus, BLUE Santa Snacks have no chicken (or poultry) by-product meals and are free of corn, wheat and soy — just like all BLUE treats.
Plus, we got Hank a few other holiday-themed toys and treats. There are special displays with all these holiday-themed products right at the front of PetSmart stores.
If your pets are anything like Hank, they probably have tons of toys, which can be annoying if you don’t have a place to keep them all. Recently, I made Hank a toy box to keep all his toys, and it’s the perfect way to wrap his gifts from Santa.
Here’s how I made it:
Hank loves to rummage around in his toy box, so I thought a metal bin would be the most sturdy. You can find these at craft stores or big box stores.
First, I used painter’s tape and taped two lines to create a row to write his name.
Then, I used chalkboard spray paint and spray painted between the lines.
I let it dry for 24 hours before removing the tape, and then, it was ready to fill with toys!

these santa snacks looks so festive and fun. love the idea…
I was trying to think of what I would include in Max’s stocking this year. I found it. The Santa Snacks and a few toys will be perfect and I know Max will enjoy it all.
Awwww what a cutie he is! And such perfect treats for the Christmas time! This is so adorable! I wonder if there’s a similar thing for cats…
I love those Christmas treats! I always try to find our dog a great gift for Christmas, because yes, she’s an important member of our family. I need to check out these Blue Buffalo treats.
What a fun DIY project for pets!! I know that it is so easy for pet toys to end up all over if they don’t have a home for them.
This would surely keep the toys organized and secured. The box also looks durable and the re-design looks really cool.
I love this pet toy box. WHat a cute craft for the dog in your life! We hope to get a puppy very soon for the girls.
This is so adorable! Our golden has lots of plush toys he takes good care of that he really needs a better place to store. Maybe we’ll make one of these!
Oh I love this I totally need to make some for my friends pets, as well as our Sal this Christmas!
I have considered getting Blue for my two little chihuahuas. I have looked at it several times but wasn’t really sure if my dogs would like it. Looking back now, I wish I had gone ahead and bought it.
The Blue food I have yet to try on my dog. He would definitely love these toys to tear up. I love the idea of they doggie toy box which his something we need. Thanks for sharing the idea.
Aww what a great diy project. It came out really nice. Makes me wish I had a pet.
Now, this is a cute idea, but my my pup has so many toys and treats that giving him a Christmas gift would be to much lol, but I love this concept for those who don’t over spoil their dogs.
I’ve been meaning to try Blue Buffalo with my boys. The poor things could use something better for winter.
This is so cute!! If we had a dog, I’m sure we would be getting him or her a gift like this!
This is so cute. I always try to give our fur baby something special for christmas. He always gets a stocking and a gift.
