I just love learning how other moms save time and money when it comes to the kitchen. This is the room I spent most of my time from making meals to cleaning it up, so I am always looking to increase efficiency and save money. Today, I’m sharing the ways I save time and money when it comes to my kitchen.
#1 Hefty Ultra Strong are the BEST kitchen trash bags. Not only are they outstanding quality, but they’re a new lower price! Plus, they have Arm & Hammer odor neutralizers with new scents like Citrus Twist and Lavender & Sweet Vanilla to help keep odors at bay. Plus, there’s even a scent-free option!
I love the stretchiness to the bags. They are tear resistant with an active tear resistant technology for better puncture resistance! I just hate it when I go to take the trash out of the can, and there’s a hole from something. With Hefty, I never have that problem! I can even trust the kids to take the trash out easily without a trail of leaks from a hole in the bag.
Here’s some great savings deals the next time you need to grab a box of Hefty Ultra Strong. Coupons.com has a $1.00 off one box of Hefty trash bags. Plus, you can earn $1.00 cash back via Ibotta after purchasing one box of Hefty trash bags.
#2 I buy hamburger and ground turkey in bulk packs and then I brown it all at the same time. Then, I separate out into one pound packages and freeze it. This way, I cut my cooking time down, and I have browned ground beef ready for tacos, spaghetti, soups, and more! Plus, when you buy in bulk packages of 3-5 lbs, the price per pound goes down.
#3 Make a meal plan. I am totally not organized enough to meal plan more than a week in advance, but every Sunday I grocery shop and plan out meals for the week. When I do this, it saves us money a couple of ways. First, I buy what I need for meals and not just random groceries. It also prevents us from eating out. I can’t tell you how many times when I don’t meal plan, I just run out of time for dinner and just gather everyone up to head to a restaurant. With our family size, dinner can easily be over $50.00 for all of us, and that can add up quick.

I’d love to know what your best kitchen savings tips are! Tell me in the comments!

My best kitchen saving tip is use what is in your pantry. We will be doing that this week. No buying anything for meals, only using the good currently in our pantry.
my best kitchen savings tip is to use the proper storage containers to that the produce lasts longer and you don’t throw away food-which is a huge waste of money
Heft is a grand brand of trash bags and the only one we use. I want to try the new Lavender & Sweet Vanilla scented bags.

Kitchen trash bags that fail are a huge huge headache. I’d rather pay a little more for quality trash bags knowing they aren’t going to break on me.
