It’s always nice when the weather warms up and we can get outside. But, here in tornado alley, it also means storms are aplenty. It was bright and sunny this morning, and now it’s going to rain the rest of the day. TV and movies can get boring pretty fast. On the few Saturdays we aren’t busy, I’ve got super fun things for my kids to do for rainy day activities.
Here’s a few fun things that you might just have on hand to make:
Here’s some fun things my kids love to do on rainy days like today:
PlayMais Fun To Learn Opposites Creative Arts and Crafts Building Box – These are like the biodegradable packing peanuts. I just get the kids a little dixie cup of water, and adding a little water lets you stick these together for such fun creations. You can mold them into all kinds of shapes.
Art Dolls are so much fun to make. We’ve have made them for years over at my mom’s house. My daughter and I have made them into bookmarks and pins. I still have one of the pins. Art Dolls are such a great way to let your creativity fly.
Another fun activity we like to do is make bracelets with names or phrases. My girls will spend hours creating the perfect one for each other. You can even buy additional beads for even more fun HERE.
